Gifts for sponsored children?

Hoping for a few different thoughts on this subject.
It must be wonderful for children and often the whole family to receive gifts above and beyond the gift of an education; Gifts they could never normally have if they hadn't been sponsored.

However, what about fellow students whose family can manage to pay for their education, so are not sponsored, but do not have the extra resources to pay for what to them would be in their wildest dreams?
Although sponsored children's families often share what they can with the village, e.g. food, not all things can be shared. Does this not set up a lot of jealousy from the have nots?

Or the kiddies who are waiting for sponsors? On seeing the gift sponsored children may receive, are their expectations not one of yearly receiving many extra gifts on top of their education being paid?

What of the students who will never see their sponsor so perhaps no gifts at all.

Anyway, i would very much like to hear your thoughts on the above? Thanks :)
