is the interaction the children and families receive when you visit and take the time to sit down & mix with them.
We had one particular school that was receiving all the financial support needed to provide for all the children & the school. However, they came to me a couple of years ago to ask us to once again takeover sponsoring their school. When I asked why, they said that their children weren't getting the regular Saturday morning visits from sponsors. My first thought was that they were missing out on the dreaded "Chuppa Chup Fix", but, no, it was the opportunity for the children to practice their English, to generally interact with westerners, to share their school and to show off their music & dance skills.
We opened a library at that school just last week and it was tremendous to see the transformation in the last two years.
Your visit and time is the biggest gift you can share with the children.
