possibly stems from the fact that it is not an entirely legal service. even Bali Concierge, who have the most 'formal' service at the airport, can only do so because of their connections. their own staff have admitted to me that it is a grey area.

people who choose to dodge the immigration queues do so at their own risk really, as you can bet if something went wrong, the person providing the service would probably be out of there faster than you can say thatllbetwomillionrupiahplease.

using the 'VIP' service DOES take away the services of one immigration officer, thus slowing down the 'normal' queues. of course people who do the right thing arent happy about it.
