Encounters with Street Dogs?

Hi everyone, Selamat bagi!

I'm doing a presentation on Bali Street Dogs for Animal Law at Uni and I was just hoping for some general insight on what tourists and Bali travellers think of them, and also how Bali's dogs compare to our own.

If anyone has any general comments about why think there are so many, what they think of the government or welfare treatment of them in response to the rabies outbreak, if they have ever seen them ill/harmed/mistreated, their views on how they interact with the local people, what they think the Balinese think of them and so on, whether Australians' treatment of dogs differs to that of Bali and why, etc.
