To understand the street dog problem you must first of all have a good understanding of the Balinese culture, without this you will never understand. With an wage of $3 or $4 a day getting treatment at a Dr for human ailments is often beyond many Balinese never mind about treatment for dogs. When my Balinese friends know how much I pay for my pet's treatments and food they almost cry thinking of what that money could do for their own health.
