Jetstar, Has anyone had this problem ?

recently received and email from Jetstar as we are on their database and wish to get updates.
Promoted a "get out of Australia" or some such like, yes I will check the wording for you all if you need it.
Wow, we though the dates were there, the fare was good and we had holidaze booked; yes lets do it.
So we did.
we completed the forms on the website, we went through it as far as we dared and yes the fare was good too, after all it was a "promotion".
Ok, Long story short. we completed the internet booking and got to a screen saying "booking on hold for five days" so we did.
Paid in full via internet transfer two days later, from major aust bank to "Jetstar" as verfified by same bank.
Now some five days after payment and seven days after booking we are told "ther is no booking", "booking has been cancelled", "no payment has been received", you will have to book again", that fare doesnt exist, it will cost 30% more", what about my money I ask ?, we dont have your money, they answer"
Moral, be very very vdery careful with JETSTAR.
