Used a Commonwealth Bank ATM today in JL Tamblingan, just north of Hardy's. Went through the whole process to take out 1.5 million Rp and the money didn't come out.
Got my card out ok, but no money dispensed, and the receipt showed that the money did indeed come out of my account.
A girl was standing outside near the ATM and when I came out, she told me that the same thing happened to her, and she had tried twice to take out money, a total of 600,000 Rp.
She was standing there trying to ring the phone number printed on the receipt to report it but the number didn't answer.
We both ended up going to the Sanur Polisi station to report it, so we would have an official report to show to our banks. After an hour at the Polisi, and 100,000 Rp each for "administration fees", we had our reports.
I rang Comm bank in Australia and they said it would take 2 to 3 weeks for their disputes team to check it. I had covered the pin pad completely with my wallet when inputting my pin, so I'm pretty sure that no more money will come out of my account.

I'm guessing, but maybe someone can enlighten me, that to take money out of my bank account, they would need the card number AND the pin.
If they only have my key card, they still do not have my ACCOUNT number or my PIN number. Credit cards are different in that they only need the card number and then they can use that to make unauthorised transactions on your credit card.
Can anyone tell me if I should be panicking?
