36 trips to bali never done a jbr but after such bad press re febris thought would add my 5 cents worth.Came from brisbane via DarwinArrived bali 0830 straight thru voa and customs,met by hotel transport and at Febris 0930.Checked in,2 ground floor units as requested ,in room and unpacked by 1100.Btw travelling with wife daughter and grandson.Changed money at kodak shop across road beside supermarket,100,000 short,this happened twice very diapointing. Then proceeded to form my opinion on bad press. Food had gone up but so it had all up the strip,massages same as March when we were there,large beer $4.50.$5 for small in Darwin.So no complaints from me.As for price hike during Idul Fitri,WHY NOT every country has its peak times.
Freezing cold pool was like bath water.As for non guests being refused use of pool the signs are very plain and I agree with the policy cause once stayed in hotel open to public and half came for a bath and other half beat the germans to lounges.Kids club once again signs are plain it is not a baby sitting club,may not have a lot in it but was well used,baby sitting is available if required.
As for it being so so expensive we had 11 lunches and dinners all with drins and massages,facials etc total bill $588 if that is expensive dont know what some people expect,as for not getting a requested room that is luck of draw.My rooms workedout at $57 each good for me .In all had wonderful holiday ,management and staff were great,rooms very clean and great food,if you were not seated by 1900 it was full.
So in summing up I thinka FEW peple have got noses out of joint for not getting own way and have set out to damage the repritation of the hotel which in MY opinion is a misuse of this forum.
I spoke to many many guests and not one complaint and I for one will certainly be back.CHEERS
