i am on injectable medication which i take for ms and need to carry my medication on me(as carry on) as the medication cannot be stored below a certain temperature and i dont want to risk losing it if my luggage goes astray
have just contacted the indonesian consulate and asked if there was anything i needed to do before entering indonesia with my medication and needles and was advised that i needed a letter from my doctor (which i knew about) stating what the medication was etc. and then i needed to send a copy of the letter and copy of my passport with a cheque for $25 to the consulate in sydney and they would issue a letter to say that it is ok to enter with this medication!
just letting others know that this is what is required but not sure what will happen if i dont (not taking risks though!)
