We had our Bahasa Indonesia teacher translate the letter and the guys at customs were most impressed that we had taken the trouble to do it. I think it helped as they would have struggled with the English version.
There are lots of people on this forum who speak fluent BI and would probably help if you can't get hold of a translator. Is there an Indonesian society where you are? Perhaps a phone call to them might help. The MS Society are usually pretty good in tracking down resources as well.
We also took a small esky for carrying the stuff around. The betaferon came packed with a number of freezer blocks and those were useful for using in the esky once we got off the plane. Qantas let us keep a few in the fridge for that purpose.
