I agree. The charm and culture of Balinese people can not be matched. Thai people in tourist areas are way too commercial-we have been to Thailand many times, usually not by choice, and found there were always problems with overcharging in restaurants and Thais are usually only friendly if they think they will get something. They will sell you anything even their daughters, literally.
