Been to both Thailand and Bali. Scenery in Thailand around Pee Pee (sorry dont know correct spelling) is out of this world. Fantastic boat tours off the small islands and snorkelling was sensational. Stayed at Phuket - what a let down compared to Bali. Food was great, shopping was lousy and just didnt have that great Bali feel. Found the sex trade so in your face in both Phuket and Bangkok. Would go back to Thailand (and it was great compared to Malyasia) but hey it does not compare to Bali in any way shape or form.
