Perth airport stopover

We fly from Melb to Bali via Perth... land in Perth at 3:15pm, fly out to Bali at 7:35pm.
Do we have time to leave the airport and do anything, or will we just need to hang around? Wouldn't want to risk missing our flight, but 4 hours of just hanging around isn't very appealing, either.
Never been to Perth, and will have 3 toey children with us.
