If your in the main tourist areas yes eat and drink all but if we are out and about like our trip up North (Pemuteran) I would avoid ice in tiny street restaurants which are meant for locals unless they tell me it's safe. Often they will tell you it's safe before you ask........
Same with salad BUT apart from that we've had no troubles
