My update is the future of my money is now in the hands of Visa Fraud Investigation.I have done the paper work at the bank it now goes to Head Ofice and I wait unitl I am conatacted by the Visa Fraud Investigator. In the meantime another $6000 of transactions are pending. Totaling now around $10,000.I have no assurance from the bank as yet regarding my money as in their words I have to "wait until I am contacted by the Investigators when they recive my paperwork and and pending investigation.
Anyone having to use large sums in Bali my advice is use a second debit card not attached to any account you use regulary back in OZ or keep larger sums of money in. Once back in OZ empty the account and only top it up when you are going to Bali keep a low balance in it at all times.
To try to find any humour in this situation I am telling family and friends they are getting great gifts from the Sony store but they are a while coming as they are being flown in from Jakarta!
