Hotel with kids - not Dynasty

Travelling alone in December with my two kids, aged 9 and 16 years. Looking for a suitable spot to stay. I notice on the forum lots of recommendations for the Dynasty.I was there earlier this year, and sorry to say, there were lots of Aussie bogans. Maybe just bad luck at the time. Any other suggestions - anyone stayed at the Kartika Plaza, Patra or Mandira with kids?
