We too like the paradise plaza suites, the apartments are very clean anfd have heaps of room in them. Its great to have the second bathroom if needed and the airconditioners run on separate controllers for each room. The restaurant meals are great and have a lot of variety from indo to western foods.
Your kids are a great age to stay down in the pool area/kids club and chill out with the water slide and order their own lunch etc, whilst you can relax with them or in your room(knowing they have someone watching them).
I agree about it being a bit out of the way as the suites are on a bypass road but the shuttle is great that takes you to the beach, shopping or sister hotel. We have never found it a problem not being on the beach.
We love the suites and are returning in March next year. You will find the staff very friendly and the kids will have a ball.
