We stay at Sanur Paradise Plaza Hotel and have done so for many years, we just book 2 Interconnecting rooms that way we have 2 bathrooms and 2 friges. The hotel is a bit closer to beach, shopping and we just use the shuttle bus to take our kids to the the kids club at the suites.
Both the Sanur Paradise Plaza hotel and suites are great its just the hotel is more to our liking.
I agree about the Dynasty, we stayed there for 7 days last May and it was not our cup of tea either and will not stay there again
