Can anyone clarify whether or not you can bring snake skin back into Australia through the airport (I want to get some boots made). I realise that pythons and some snakes are protected but is the any type that you can legally bring in? I have called both customs and quarantine and they couldnt give me an answer which I found was strage as I have seen people have it confiscated before when they searh your bags on arrival...
