Hey,
First time bali traveler going over this weekend from New Zealand for 11 days. Im 20 and am going with my girlfriend. We have booked a package deal and will stay at the Dewi Sri Cottages which should be all good from what ive read about. We are young enough and should have no problems with a bit of noise or something not being immaculate.
What I have been told is that sometimes Kuta gets a bit much for 10 days and a friend suggested we leave the hotel room in Dewi Sri for a few days at a time and travel to other Areas of the Island.
At this stage what I plan to do is spend a couple of nights over on Nusa Lembongan Island. I'm quite the surf fan and it has been reccomended to me as quite a nice place to go.Does anyone have any do's or donts while on the Island and suggest a comfortable secure place to stay that wont break the bank while over there (at this stage I hear its not to busy so would It be fair to say that I can just get a boat over and find a place to stay without pre booking)
Places we must go for dinner and snorkle and surf are also welcomed.
The I think we'll probably head back to Kuta for a couple of nights and perhaps do some day trips out to Dreamland and other such places.
The next part is the bit im not so sure on, I was thinking it might be cool to go up to the north coast perhaps a couple of nights at Lovina. I've heard its fantastic up there. and not to expensive. Suggestions about lovina accomodation and things to do are welcomed as well as advice as to wether this is indeed a good place to stay a couple of nights or if I would be better of going somewhere else?
Last couple of questions I have for you folk is where abouts can I go parasailing. Is it pretty safe ? and what kinda prices would I be looking at paying?
And Sunsets, and seafood by the beach. What is my best bet there? The girlys quite the fan of seafood and nice meals as the sun goes down (who isnt right) but yea :P want it to be something nice for her so suggestions as to where I must take her to have some cool nights??
Thanks indeed people
Sorry for the Large ammounts of questions and appreciate all replys
