Assume that as a boarding pass is involved, one is leaving.
Not sure why customs would be involved in this??
Up until now, arriving visitors filled the white arrival/departure card and the departure part was left in the back of the travellers passport and collected when the traveller left.
Recently I went through DPS departing and the white card was ignored.
I think this documentation may now be canned, so on arrival you just have the customs declaration form and of course visa on arrival is already paid in ticket or Aussie departure.
The whole process certainly seems to be getting better.
Pity about VOA though.
