As pavic said they will have built up some confidence and just need to follow other tourists, without having to worry about which customs line to go through or which bag carousel ( which can be quite confusing in the new airport for some reason).
The only thing they need to worry about is opened duty free and perfumes which for some reason airport staff sometimes want to confiscate from checked luggage. Maybe you carry this home for them so there is no chance of them getting challenged. Or if they do try this on get them to ask the staff to see their
"boss" or supervisor.
