Arrived late last night Virgin from Perth, good trip, small plane . Decided to try to outdo the Taxi mafia at the airport but almost got swallowed up by a posse of waiting drivers in the process....it was intimidating and annoying as they were so persistent and managed to get between my friend and I also. There would have been at least 5 around both of us and asking $20 to go to Jln Werkadura. Ended up getting a large car for 100,000.
Would hate to see a newbie fall into these guys hands !!!!
So arrived at the Baleka late night an had a smooth check in.
This morning managed to do a deal and moved rooms with an upgrade and an extra room so we are very happily at home in our new large lovely deluxe rooms.
Breakkie at Tommys this morning , off to change money and get supplies at BIntang but got slightly side tracked at Animale where we bought a few bits, a lot of it at 50% off !!!
Late lunch at Warung Patrick in Padma Utara then a relaxing massage at Bamboo Spa and we're off to Cafe Jadi for tea yum yum :)
It's overcast and humid but not as bad as I exoected for this time of year !! Very happy to be here :)
