Looking for some advice. Last October we booked return flights for this September direct Melbourne to Bali with Air Asia. As everyone now knows they don't currently have the ok for this run so at the moment the flights will be via KL. For a host of reasons this isn't going to be ok for us. I've explained my reasons and they won't give me a refund as they say they might have approval by then. My argument is if they don't I'll have missed the flights with an alternate carrier for those dates. Unfortunately, for the 3 of us, luggage, extras like meals and golf clubs its a lot of money so we can't just walk away. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
