I sent the KBC an email in relation to the report of renovations in and around their hotel...below is the reply...

Regarding to the renovations that still on progress curently is our pool, as we attached on the attachment, you can see that the area of the project is well covered by good material in blue color which is looked more presentable. And the removing of the tiles have been complete yesterday and we starting to recoating all the pool structure(our main pool is leaking)and after that will continuing to replace a new tiles which is more nice and good quality than before. Our projection it will be complete about 1,5 months, instead of pool we also updating the landscape of pool area, then when it finish it will be more looked good. We have another pool to use for relaxing and swimming.

So in a nutshell and judging by the photos he sent me...the main pool is closed for renovations and there is a large blue tarp surrounding the pool so it doesn't look unsightly. There is still the second pool for use. I have not stayed there so I don't know how big or good the second pool is. I'm staying there in October. If I arrived there today though I would be disappointed that I wasn't informed of the main pool closure.
