Hi There. We have been to KBC twice a year for the past 25 years and we are due to go there on the 11th March until the 21st March. We had booked the Family Suite which is right next to the pool they are currently refurbishing. I have spoken to Sari in Reservations and she has also advised that the upgrade will take until the 15th March or maybe later. Because of this, we have cancelled our reservation and booked at the Santika which is down near the Dynasty.
There is another pool at KBC but this is a very deap pool and is really only for swimming, not for sitting and having a relaxing drink. It is also only half the size and as the hotel will be at 85% capacity during March, (mostly Aussies), I would imagine that they will be packed into that pool like sardines.
Having said that it is a great hotel and we are really sorry that we will not be staying there this time. We will be there again in December for 10 days and absolutely love it. The staff are great and the new refurbishments have made a huge difference. You will have a wonderful time in October.
