over the last 4 or 5 years and not one of them was very impressed with the place. I've surfed the breaks a few times, Insides can get good, especially the right, but Outsides is usually pretty messy.
Its also a long steep slog down and back up, you'll get fit quickly.
Sorry to be negative, but that's what I've heard from people who have stayed there.
I'd think seriously of staying at the Novatel, that's definitely honeymoon standard.
From there you can ride to Ekas bay and catch a boat across to Ekas.
There are lots of other breaks around with good access from Kuta, but keep in mind its the wet season so land access may be difficult.
