For the last 12 or so trips I go to Mandurah duty free because it is a lot cheaper than the airport especially if you are a smoker Horizon $30 a carton cheaper. Spirits about $5 to $10 a bottle cheaper. You put the alcohol in your luggage for the hold and you hand the receipt in just as you go through customs. If you are a smoker you take them as carry on again you just hand in the receipt as you go through. There is nothing stopping you buying more at the airport and trying your luck have done it a few times. Cheers Smithey
