In Feb a carton of smokes was $50 in the airport duty free then in July after the Govnt "Tax hike" they cost $90 a carton? I questioned the price because i knew the rise was a "tax" and these were duty free? and was told the price had also gone up??? Rip off pure and simple.
It wasnt that long ago,2 years or so that Perth Duty free was one of the cheapest in the world but now its cheaper everywhere else bar the UK.
Even the booze isnt cheap unless you buy the double specials,its almost as cheap at Dan Murphys.
