Have done a bit of a search of the forum but need some opinions please. Due to fly to Bali in two weeks and hubby is on his third dose of antibiotics for an ear infection that just won't budge. Hubby is still keen to go and risk sore ears after a plane flight but I am preparing for the worst - that we cannot go! The flights we have are Cheap Air Asia promos (so I think no refund) and obviously I am going to have to do research with the relevant companies if we have to cancell, but has anyone had this dilemma and what was your experience in either cancelling or doing a no-show with Air Asia? Did travel insurance cover the rest of the out of pocket expenses with a medical certificate?
I am happy to be out of pocket rather than have Hubby be at risk of injuring himself but at the same I want to be able to get as much back as I can so we can rebook the holiday asap! Thanks for any experiences you can share.
