Hi Russ, just wanting to get some general info a bit closer than March. My family and I will be arriving for our first trip this Monday. With the VOA in OZ dollars, do they do a straight comparison with the US dollar then charge the OZ to US value or is it more complicated than that (Oz to Rp to US)? Do they put on a local money changers rate (which from what I have been reading in this forum is much better than changing at home)? Do they have money changers and/or ATM's within the arrival hall (before customs/immigration/VOA purchase or are these outside the secure area? Do you know if you can pay VOA via Credit Card? Sorry if very vague, just trying to make sure we are not caught short upon arrival if only arrive with Australian dollars and ATM cards.
