Hi, I we are travelling to Bali in just over 3 weeks. Will be the first family holiday overseas so we are feeling a little nervous :) And have a few Q's
Have been reading these forums for the past few months and writing heaps of stuff down - so thanks for all the wonderful tips.
We will be staying at Dynast for 11 nights. We = Mum, Dad, 7yr daughter, 5yr son and nearly 3yr son.
Have noted all the items to put in first aid including the raspberry cordial. Have read the whole debate about tap vs bottle water (sorry but will def be doing the bottle with 3 young kiddies)
Would love some info on activities and tours that other people have taken their young children - want both SUCCESS and FAIL stories :)
1. Would also like to know if tours should be booked while still here in Oz or should wait till we get there?
2. Which is better, Taro or the Safari/marine park OR should we do both?? Also does anyone know the cost of entry and elephant ride at Taro - can only seem to find prices that include accomodation.
3. Is the Monkey tour suitable for a 3 year old (have read that it can be quite tiring and dont want a grumpy Mr 3.
4. Does anyone know the going rate to hire a driver for a day/half day? And would love any driver recommendations
5. V1P VOA (dare I even ask - haha) Flight is arriving on a Monday night Jet* arrival 9.55pm Bali time. Is anyone familiar with this flight and if so do you recommend V1P VOA considering the 3 young kidlets.
