report as Perth customs are not my favourite people. They are so unfriendly and surly. Never a smile - what a welcome home! I know they've got an important job to do but geez!! The usual guy I always seem to get wasn't there on Tuesday night so joy!
I can understand they might ask about multiple items but where is the cut off? They need to be clearer.
I don't see where you've incorrectly filled in the form unless all your bought goods were over $900. The only other section would be the commercial quantities section. How much is commercial?? How does your items differ from multiple sarongs or other items?
Also, and I may be wrong here, but what business is it of theirs how overweight your luggage was?
I too have been to Bali 6 times in 18mths, same reason, the cheap fares make it almost impossible to stay home. I guess luckily I'm pretty much over the shopping and just brought in two little metal dragon flys otherwise I might be in the same boat as you (had I known where to get multiple for that price I probably would be!!)
