Has to be used no matter whether you book rail or road,but cannot see the sense in going from Gillimanuk to Denpasar to then catch another bus from there back up to lovina.
I may use the train BUT then just get a bus from Gillimanuk to lovina which will be a LOT quicker and you may even be able to buy a ticket at Ketupat(spelling?)where the train actually stops and is where the ferry leaves from to go to Gillimanuk.
