I spent one of the best half days of my entire life a few years ago at the Maya day Spa in Ubud. It's set in the jungle on the side of a ravine with open air day spa treatment rooms. If money is no object (or just because you're worth it!!!) absolutely can not go past for pure heaven experience.
But, if you are looking to fill whole day, why not do a cooking school in the morning, day spa in arvo? I went to Laka Leke last year for the cooking school and LOVED it. Also great tranquil setting, just south of Monkey Forest. if you'd like more info on either, let me know.
