If you have an international drivers licence. Is it a good idea to hire your own car in bali?
The roads are pretty crazy. But years ago I hired a scooter to get around sanur and it was a lot of fun exploring all the back roads around town.
Not sure if a car would be a good idea though? It appeals to me because we could drive when ever we wanted and could stop and look at what ever we liked. And could explore the place in our own time.
However, would it be extremely dangerous? I guess me being the driver, I'd miss out on seeing most of the sights along the way as I was concentrating on the road. Plus it would add stress to a holiday.
