I found the price for the Sanur Beach hotel in 2010 had gone up by 50% on this year's prices and that had been 50% more than the 2008 price. The hotel was completely booked out when we stayed there in July so I guess they feel they can hike up prices and still be fully booked. Tegal Sari has also raised its prices and cut out complementary breakfast for 2010. Bali now does not seem to be the bargain of years gone by and I wonder how many people have, like me, decided to look further afield for future holidays.
