I have been to Vietnam and at least you can get your visa before you arrive. The time spent waiting to get through Denpasar immigration is notorious - just read previous posts plus the controversy of VIP VOAs. I have been to most SE Asian capitals and none are as bad or corrupt for that matter, as Bali. This year I met people whose flight had arrived at midnight and they still had to wait an hour to get through immigration. Why is it that Jakarta can have a smooth efficient immigration process yet bali can't?
