I agree and have always tried to show respect at cremations and any other ceremony. It is worthy of note that the Balinese regard a cremation as a celebration (the passing on to something better) and don't seem to mind tourists observing and taking part.

I think photographers need to show some respect and wearing swimming togs and revealing clothing is simply wrong.

I have a problem with passing judgement on other cultures. The amount of money we spend on weddings; the royal family, payment of sports stars, adolation of film stars etc could also be considered obscene if looked at objectively. And what about circumscion?

Personally I find drunk Australians and New Zealanders wearing crude T shirts offensive. I am an occasional drunk Kiwi, but I try and not be offensive.
