I am not one to frequent this forum and actually registered just so I could post a reply to this message which I have been advised of today. I believe that I should be entitled to a RIGHT OF REPLY.
I will address each issue that you saw one by one the way I saw it.
1.Airport pick up: There are a couple of points you did not mention in regards to the airport transfer that I will remind you of. Yes you are correct this was a very late arrival. In fact your accommodation was NOT Jimbaran put Puri Gading which is half way between Uluwatu and Jimbaran and it not a built up area. Your accommodation was a private housing complex that was not well numbered or sign posted. May I also remind you that you did not even have a key with you to get into the house! Our driver called the caretaker of the house on your behalf to try to locate a key for you. It wasn't until about 30 minutes later that someone in the neighborhood came out with a spare key. As you know our driver waited until you were safely in the house. May I also remind you that when you paid the driver you actually overpaid him by Rp50.000 which he made you aware of and gave this back to you. The driver did not get home that morning until 2.30am.
2.Toys: I totally disagree with you that the toys were filthy. This is totally untrue. I packed your toys personally. I told you that we had taken the toys off our hire list as we were unable to keep the quality we would like for our clients as toys in Indonesia are not of the same standard as abroad. I did not say it was hard to keep them clean!. There was only one toy in the sack of toys that required batteries and I had replaced this prior to your arrival. Your booking had already been made before our decision to cancel the toys so we were simply honoring your booking with the toys. The total amount for the toys was refunded to you.
3.Pram: The pram that we rented to you at the beginning was actually a brand new pram that had only been hired out once before. This pram unfortunately did turn out to be a faulty pram and we were unfortunately not aware of this prior to hiring it to you. The second pram that had the loose wheel again would not have been hire out to you if this had have been known. I did apologize for this and refund the total amount for the full amount to you. On each occasion the prams were changed immediately. Both of these prams no longer are available for hire due to obvious reasons.
4.Return Airport Transfer: Yes you did cancel the airport transfer the afternoon of your departure. The driver that was due to pick you up for the airport that evening had actually already been given your refundable security deposit. As your plans changed at last minute so did our driver/delivery/pick up person therefore your security deposit was still with the driver that was going to drop you to the airport. Please be rest assured that our driver did NOT pay your security deposit out of his own pocket. It was in fact money from the business that he had on him. As you may or may not remember we did speak on the phone when you were at the airport and through the entire process I was always a phone call away.
I would not normally even bother to reply to a post on this forum or any others for that matter however I felt it was only fair that my side of the story had to be told and it was not all as black and white as Olivia and Luke had said.
Thank you to all our customers and return customers for your continuous support. It is much appreciated and we look forward to welcoming you all to Bali.
