Amed-Legian how long & what to see?

Hi all,
thinking of heading to Amed for 1 night from Sanur (stopping along the way at Goa Lawah, Padang Bai, Tirta Gangga) & heading back to Legian the following day. Is it the same route back or is there an alternative? How long is the trip to Legian from Amed? Any ideas for places to visit on the way to Legian? (we have a 3yo so would need fairly frequent stops along the way to prevent her getting bored).
