Hi everyone!
The one problem with last minute decisions is trying to fit all your planning into a few short weeks. As such I need your advice please! Reading this forum avidly is helping a lot, but still....
Firstly, it seems so much more polite to be able to speak to the Balinese people in their own language, but lets be realistic.. I 'might' be able to learn a couple of words in the time I have. Can anyone suggest the best/easiest words to learn?
Secondly, being a complete novice/newbie at bartering I just know that I'm going to be walking around with a big sign over my head saying "sucker target" unless I'm really careful. Any suggestions on how to barter properly, without causing insult, or being taken for a ride would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you ever so much in advance,
Becky
