If you are a bule, you have sucker writen all over you. You are on holiday so if you get taken on the price, a little, will it really change your life? Let the seller give you their best morning price, cut it in half, and work from there.Dont show to much interest in the piece either. If is a wood carving, politely show a few flaws. and joke about it with the seller.Have fun with it..People of Bali love humor. Its kinda like buying a car, from a used car salesman. You will never know the true price of the piece, but if you are happy, who cares. Once you have established a "fair price", you must buy the item.. I have many friends in the Lovina area, and I do know the real prices. See how you do.. Sarongs are no more than 25,000rp. Shirts about 15,000rp Carvings, for a small one about 20,000rp. Good Luck and Enjoy hte experience. cheers Gede
