come in all sorts of brands and types and yes they are very cheap compared to Australia.
We use a brand in Australia that you can put in and leave in for up to a month and strangely enough they are made in Indonesia but are not available for sale there.
You will see quite a lot of lens that say monthly on the box but this means that they should be taken out each night but can be re-used each day for up to a month,and they aren't designed to be left in constantly as they dont allow enough oxygen to get through for that.
There also some "dailies" which will be use and discard daily.
My advice would be to talk to YOUR optician about types of lens before you go as i have heard of some people being told from a optician up there that the ones showing monthly lens on the box can be left in all the time for the month, which according to my optician,is definitely a no-no.
