Hi all,

Just wanting some advice from those of you out there who have tackled Bali with a pram. We are off to Bali on Friday for two weeks in Seminyak. We plan to take our three wheel pram - it is a cheapo one and I'm not bothered if it gets bashed about. We will need it at Sydney airport first as we are travelling from regional NSW and have a three hour wait before check in, so the plan is for bub to have a sleep, then we will check the pram in.

When in Bali, we are hoping to use it to wander about in Seminyak, to take it on the beach, to use as a high chair to feed bub in, and also to put her to sleep in it when we go out for dinner.

From what I have heard and read, this may be difficult to achieve with a three wheeler. It is a wide pram and I am concerned we will have problems on narrow footpaths and getting in and out of shops and restaurants etc; also getting it into the back of taxis (though it does fold relatively flat). What have others experienced in this regard?

We need a layback pram / stroller as our baby is only 5 months old and still sleeps a lot (especially in the pram). She can't yet use an unpright only stroller as she slips out! I'm wondering if I should buy a lighter layback stroller instead? The problem with this is a) I like the three wheeler as the handle is long, which my husband and I need as we are both tall, and b) I think the beefy tyres on the three wheeler will handle the terrain better!!

Thoughts and opinions most welcome!!

Amanda
