Seeing Dennis talk about the rain last night in Bali brings back a vivd memory. I recall coming out of peanuts many moons ago. The rain had been absolutely p*&%ing down for a good hour or more. Got in the taxi heading back to Kuta beach club. Came up around Bemo Corner and the driver says "sorry missus no more can go!" So my friend and I in our innebriated post peanuts state said no worries we walk!! Knee deep in the dark, in whiat I think was water?? we waded our way home. Somehow along the way we acquired one of those beautiful DECORATIVE umberellas from the front of a now closed restaurant. I awoke the next morining to bright sunlight, the key still in the door - and a somewhat old and torn "umberella" that I'm sure was useless even before we aquired it!
