If any reprisals were to take place I don't believe Bali would be the target for them. With the heightened awareness of locals, deployment of thousands of extra police on the streets and the general overall focus on the island, any form of potential retribution carried out in Bali has a relatively high risk of failure.

There are many other areas in Indonesia which are frequented by the "infidels" that would pose little difficulty for extremists to carry out revenge.
