I had just finished a conversation with an Australian journalist friend of mine who has been stationed in Indonesia for the last eight years, in Bali for the last six, and we both came to the same conclusion, which is why I posted it.
I am more inclined to believe a reputable known source who has sound knowledge of Balinese history, politics and culture as apposed to a two week tourist who is too quick to make assumptions that some opinions posted on this forum are ill-informed.
