It may not apply to all establishments, however, many on here have businesses in various fields that can confirm ( so please do ). Many in Bali with accom, drivers on offer etc.
Recently we tried to book some accom at a place in SA ( AUS) by web site email addy , ( over many years Ive usually phoned but on this occasion not - but eventually did end up calling them by phone direct).
Apparently the amount of "spam" received by establishments is overwhelming. They have to spend alot of time sifting thru seemingly legit to non legit enquiries. No matter what software is in place its a real task.
Thought I would pass this on, perhaps when we do make enquiries that they are lost in this fog. There are many posts on the BTF from members that get frustrated by no responses or delays. Perhaps this could be a reason.
