Some information to share with you. We have just been to Bali flying Royal Brunei from Brisbane. Leaving Brisbane we had our quota of duty free drink sealed in the bag. Departing Brunei through security they inspected the bag and all was ok. On the return trip security on departure in Brunei confiscated our duty free drink. We tried to reason with them, explaining that we were permitted to bring it through going to Bali. But only got " not allowed on flights to Australia " We have no complaints about the flights and respect there policy of no alcohol. But the double standards on departures does leave something to be desiried. The message here is, if you fly Royal Brunei, buy your duty free at the arrival point.
